The Holiday Spirit at Disney Springs
Believe it or not, we are on the cusp of the holidays. As the calendar turns to November and the leaves turn from their typical green color, we begin to set our sights on plans for the holidays. Disney Springs offers a number of activities to squeeze in among the holiday parties and caroling. The shopping and entertainment complex has both traditional activities and out of the box fun that makes it as much of a go to place as the theme parks themselves.
Holiday Happenings at Disney Springs
The holidays are in full effect at Disney Springs with activities for all ages—all just a short ride from some of the most luxurious places around, including Reunion Resort real estate. Here are some the activities to look forward to at Disney Springs this holiday season:
- Visit Santa Claus: Disney Springs guests can meet Santa, starting November 14 through December 24, 2016, at his cottage. The cottage is in a particularly delicious part of the park across from Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop. Guests will have an opportunity to take pictures with him between noon – 10 p.m.
- The Festival of Holiday Trees: For the first time, Disney Springs will celebrate Christmas with a trail of beautiful trees, stretching out from the marketplace. Each of the 15 trees will highlight a specific Disney theme, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse and The Princess and the Frog.
- Other Holiday happenings: Disney Springs will also celebrate Kwanzaa and Chanukah with special performances. There will also be a holiday-themed DJ dance party at the Once Upon a Toy fountain play area.
